GNCHR Participation in the Educational Event of the Greek AI Network (GAIN) and Homo Digitalis on Artificial Intelligence
The Greek National Commission for Human Rights (GNCHR) participated on Thursday 18 December 2025, in the Educational Event of the Greek AI Network (GAIN) and Homo Digitalis on Artificial Intelligence. The event was organized with the aim of involving civil society organizations interested in the protection of human rights in the era of artificial intelligence.
The GNCHR was represented by Dr. Christos Tsevas, GNCHR Human Rights Advisor. The presentation was entitled “The Greek National Commission for Human Rights in the Era of Artificial Intelligence: Challenges and Prospects against Discrimination” and focused on the role of the National Commission in the new context shaped by Artificial Intelligence, on the responsibilities and added value of the Commission and on the challenges and prospects against discrimination.
The GNCHR participated in the 1st Part of the Event entitled “Educational Presentations by the Fundamental Rights Protection Authorities of Article 77 of the AI Act” together with Dr. Efrosini Siougle, Specialist Informatics Scientist, Head of the Department of Advisory and Compliance, representative of the Hellenic Data Protection Authority.
