The GNCHR before the Parliamentary Committees on the Draft Law of the Ministry of Digital Governance on the digital enhancement of road safety

The Greek National Commission for Human Rights participated in the meeting of the Standing Committee on Public Administration, Public Order and Justice and the Special Standing Committee on Road Safety of the Parliament on Tuesday 25 November 2025, with the subject of the draft law of the Ministry of Digital Governance entitled “Digital enhancement of road safety and other provisions”.

At the meeting of the Parliamentary Committees, the GNCHR was represented by Dr. Christos Tsevas, GNCHR Human Rights Advisor, who briefly developed the National Commission’s observations on the draft law, submitting a relevant memorandum.

It is noted that since its establishment, the GNCHR has been systematically monitoring issues concerning personal data and recently the relationship between human rights and artificial intelligence, recognizing that the rapid development of artificial intelligence brings significant challenges and opportunities in the field of human rights.
