Participation of the GNCHR in the Human Rights Moot Court Competition of ELSA Thessaloniki and ELSA Vienna

The Greek National Commission for Human Rights (GNCHR) participated in a Human Rights Moot Court Competition jointly organised by the European Law Students’ Association of Thessaloniki (ELSA Thessaloniki) and Vienna (ELSA Vienna), assuming responsibility for the scientific support of the competition and for drafting the case that formed the subject matter of the moot court. The case focused on climate justice and human rights, highlighting the contemporary challenges posed by the climate crisis to the effective protection of human rights.

The GNCHR was represented by Dr. Christos Tsevas, GNCHR Human Rights Advisor.

The above participation of the GNCHR forms part of its educational activities in the field of the promotion and protection of human rights. The event is included in the educational and academic activities of the ELSA Network, aiming to enhance the practical training of law students and to promote deeper engagement with contemporary issues of international and European law.
