New platform supporting victims of racism and discrimination in Greece
📢 𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐦 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐜𝐞
Racism and discrimination often remain underreported, not only because they occur out of sight, but also because many victims do not know where to seek support or fully understand their rights. Access to clear, reliable information is a crucial first step in addressing these incidents effectively.
To bridge this gap, KMOP, the Ministry of Social Cohesion and Family Affairs, and the Greek National Commission for Human Rights announce the new online platform: https://lnkd.in/dyrBZNgS
Individuals can use the platform to:
✅ Learn about their rights
✅ Access practical guides and resources to recognise incidents of racism and discrimination
✅ Find guidance on the relevant authorities and protection mechanisms available in Greece
The platform is available in 11 languages.
